With the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER), students will have the opportunity to gain access to more out-of-school activities than ever.
What is ESSER?
With the signing of the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act in December 2020, an additional $54.3 billion is being allocated to ESSER.
With these funds, schools are able to address learning loss expenses, preparations for reopening, repairing infrastructure, and more. For a complete list of allowable expenses, visit your state’s Department of Education website.

"Summer learning and supplemental after-school programs, including providing classroom instruction or online learning during the summer months."

AfterSchool HQ will connect your school with providers offering activities after school, over the weekend, and during the summer, allowing students a safe and productive space when not at home.
How It Works
